But getting there, auugh - have already had more than my quota of professional networking for the year. Possibly more. And there's still dinner and social events tonight, and most of the day tomorrow.

Fortunately I do indeed have internet in my hotel room. Unfortunately it is via a wire, which constrains me to sitting at the desk, which is at a vaguely uncomfortable height, and besides that entirely contrary to my "relaxing" computer pose of curling up on a couch or bed with my laptop. Mrrr.

I've still been retreating back to my room during nearly all of the break / hang-around-and-unofficially-network times, though. Otherwise I would be much closer to losing my sanity. Or have lost it. I am already pretty close.

...It's gone pretty well, though? I've mostly come across as sane and intelligent, I think, and met lots of people who may be useful to know. I even started a breakout session (which people came to!) which was pretty interesting, if not terribly productive. We will have to see if tomorrow produces more concrete things.

How is it only 5:30 OMG today is the longest day ever

...Internet, please do something interesting. Should I play a game tonight, maybe?
