You know what kind of bothers me? People seeing me and saying: "Did you cut your hair again?"

Um... yes? It continues growing; I continue cutting it. That is how hair works.

It is not like I am making it progressively shorter; it has been pretty much the same (very short) length for the last year, within an inch or two range depending on how long it has been since I cut it. Admittedly this means I cut it every few months, since my hair grows quickly - but it also means it should not be all that shocking when I do.

My mom says this every time I cut my hair, and in fact did it a couple weeks ago when I hadn't cut my hair, just because it was gelled to look damp and flat. She will no doubt say it when I see her tomorrow, as well. I think she probably is expecting me to decide to grow it out again at some point, which I have no plans to do.

But the checking lady at my grocery store downstairs said it today, too, and she hasn't ever seen me with hair longer than a few inches. Mrrr.
