Subject: Life is good. People are cool.
Security: Public

I am feeling generally pleased with people and life in general right now. ♥

Took Thursday and Friday off work, and got both my apartment and my brain back into some semblance of order; spent Saturday hanging out with people ([info]laylah, [info]mahokiwi, [info]redbird, [info]zinjadu, and [info]regicidaldwarf) and checking out the Firefighter Combat Challenge; spent Sunday lazing around the apartment with [info]regicidaldwarf, who was visiting, and making her watch a whole lot of Bleach (and noting again that the anime is actually really good. at least when you skip all the parts that are terrible).

Was back at work today, but didn't actually do much; we had a division all-hands meeting, and I spent a couple hours after that just chatting with people in the hallway. Introduced a coworker to Dresden Codak; he poked at a few comics and then went "...how long is this? you may have killed the rest of my night." Hee. And then I chatted a bit with my dad and [info]tempetecoeur on IM tonight.

And I'm working this week and next, but that includes an off-site brainstorming session Thursday and celebratory lunch Friday, and after that I'm taking two and a half weeks off. :D OMG vacation. And somewhere in that time, I will move in with [info]mahokiwi and [info]laylah! ♥

...I do have some things I could be doing that are more important than just sitting here going :D at things. Top of that list: today's Luck/Akihiko [info]kinkfest. It has been partially done forever, but it's feeling really repetitive to me - mostly of my Firo/Akihiko thing, but more generally of everything I've ever written with Akihiko. >_>

But even my "arg I am not saying anything new or interesting" neurosis isn't cutting through the generalized happiness. ^_^
